Good News!

Updated: Apr 6, 2019

The good news? "Influencers" with a total of 250,000+ followers have decided to remove pictures of them trampling the poppies! Some have even decided to be proactive and provide education to their followers about proper behavior in the wildflower fields. Much of this is due to YOUR help. Thank you! The bad news is that people like those featured in this post are still ruining wildflower habitat while hawking phone cases and dresses. I don't know about you, but I'm letting their sponsors know how I feel.

Going off the official trail, even by a foot, compacts the soils which these plants require to grow. Next year, the trail becomes one foot wider due to this compaction. If this continues to happen year after year, the only way you'll be able to see these flowers is from behind a chain link fence. That's not what anyone wants. #forprofit #profitfirst #publiclandshateyou #protectourplaces #deathby1000cuts #disrespect #selfish #ignorance #peoplesuck #illegal #publiclands #superbloom #superbloom2019 #poppy #poppyfield #ourpubliclands #protectyourpubliclands #seesomethingsaysomething #wildflowers #wildflower #trampled #flowers #highimpact #leavenotrace
