I hope whoever gotten bitten recovers quickly, learns an important lesson, and shares it with people so it doesn't happen again.
Seriously though. Who ever got bitten was probably wayyyy off trail. If they were on trail, the snake would have been visible and easily avoided. Signs telling you to stay on the trail are for YOUR PROTECTION, as well as the protection of the plants. Read the signs. Follow the rules. It's for the good of everyone! .
